Job summary

MB Automation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on engineer to configure and optimize image processing systems within fully automated machinery. You will ensure CE compliance and safety, while redesigning equipment to boost functionality and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Configure, integrate, and optimize advanced image processing systems into fully automated machinery.
• Architect machine control systems compliant with CE certifications and local safety standards.
• Redesign existing equipment to enhance functionality, accelerate production lead times, and drive cost-efficiency.
• Oversee prototyping, design specification sheets, perform rigorous testing, and manage ECNs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to allocate resources and ensure on-time delivery; act as Internal Project Manager for evaluation initiatives.
• Provide global support via remote or on-site troubleshooting for equipment issues.
• Author detailed technical analyses and conduct training sessions for internal teams, sales personnel, and global clients.

Job description

Machinery: Configure, integrate, and optimize advanced image processing systems into fully automated machinery.

Safety: Architect machine control systems compliant with CE certifications and local authoritative safety standards.

Improvement: Use data-driven insights and rigorous calculations to identify deficiencies in vision processes and engineer robust solutions.

Product Redesign & Full Lifecycle Ownership

Innovate & Optimize: Redesign existing equipment to enhance functionality, accelerate production lead times, combat component obsolescence, and drive cost-efficiency.

Prototype & Test: Oversee the engineering of product prototypes. Design detailed specification sheets, execute rigorous functionality/longevity testing, and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECN).

Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate with Project Managers to allocate resources effectively, ensuring on-time delivery of development projects. You will also step up as an Internal Project Manager for assigned evaluation initiatives.

Global Support: Resolve complex equipment issues internally (Assembly, Service, Carrier Tape Production) and externally (Customers) via physical or remote troubleshooting.

Knowledge Sharing: Author detailed technical analysis documents and conduct impactful training sessions for internal teams, sales personnel, and global clients

What We're Looking For:
