Job summary

Ideal Vision Integration Sdn Bhd is seeking an engineer to design and implement motion control and user interfaces for automated vision inspection systems. You will develop reusable C# code for system integration and collaborate with mechanical, vision software, electrical and operations teams to drive projects from design to completion.

The role requires a degree in engineering, strong programming in C++/C#, and knowledge of PLC, machine vision or motion control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in C++ or C# is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of PLC programming, machine vision, image processing or motion control.
• Preferably 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Independent, proactive with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Chinese language proficiency preferred to liaise with customers.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas; fresh graduates are welcome.

Job description

Design, develop and debug motion control and user interface for automated vision inspection systems.

Design reusable code in C# for motion control and system integration.

Study and provide solutions for customers in terms of design feasibility and meet customer expectations on quality and timeliness.

Work with mechanical design and vision software team from design until the project completion stage.

Work with electrical team on electrical wiring and routing of motor driver, I/O module and equipment.

Work with operation team to improve existing machine process.

Support

Perform onsite system setup, troubleshooting and provide technical assistance to customers when necessary.

Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and minimize machine downtime.

Documentation

Provide documentation to record and track machine module checklist.

Provide documentation to explain and increase understanding of new feature or function to internal and external customer.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Mechatronic / Computer Science / Information Technology) or an equivalent field.

Proficient in C++ or C# programming is added advantage.

Knowledge of PLC programming, machine vision, image processing or motion control will be an added advantage.

Preferably 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a related field.

Demonstrates a responsible attitude, able to work independently, proactive, and possesses good interpersonal and communication skills.

Chinese speaker proficiency is preferred to liaise with customers.

Willing and able to travel locally and overseas when required.
