Job summary

Versatile Creation Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Assembly Lead to oversee production of vacuum valve components, ensure quality, and maintain safety and productivity. You will lead the assembly line, troubleshoot issues, mentor junior assemblers, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical challenges.

Diploma/Certificate/SKM in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering is required, with at least three years of assembly experience and strong

• Diploma/Certificate/SKM in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail required.
• Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on assembly of vacuum valve components per specs and work instructions.
• Lead assembly line activities to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.
• Troubleshoot assembly-related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, coach and guide junior assemblers to strengthen team competency.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure proper documentation of assembly processes, test results and quality checks.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workstations in optimal condition.
