Job summary

Omya is seeking a Senior Specialist Transport to lead end-to-end transport planning and execution for complex, time-critical shipments from Kuala Lumpur. You will manage carrier onboarding, scheduling, and capacity planning while aligning with customer requirements and internal stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on experience with multi-modal transport, Incoterms, and SAP MM/SD/LE, with a focus on continuous improvement, cost optimization, and strong leadership to develop a team of Transport

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end transport planning, scheduling, and execution across multiple modes.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, customs, and trade compliance basics.
• Hands-on experience with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transport planning and execution, including carrier selection and scheduling.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external carriers to resolve disruptions and optimize costs.
• Guide and develop Transport Specialists, set objectives, and drive continuous improvement.
