Omya Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Transport Specialist to oversee end-to-end transport planning and execution across multiple modes. You will lead carrier coordination, scheduling, and issue resolution for time-sensitive shipments.

The role collaborates with internal stakeholders, negotiates with carriers, validates invoices, and drives continuous improvement. Requirements include 3+ years in transport planning and knowledge of SAP MM/SD and TMS.

Formación

• Experience in end-to-end transport planning across multiple modes.
• Experience with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs, and trade compliance.
• Proven problem-solving with data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and execute end-to-end transport with carrier assignment and scheduling.
• Coordinate high-priority, time-critical shipments and resolve planning conflicts.
• Review unplanned orders and capacity shortages; propose alternatives and solutions.
• Negotiate and onboard carriers with Procurement.
• Verify invoices and approve logistics costs.
• Lead Transport Specialists and develop team; set objectives and performance standards.
• Monitor transport execution performance and drive continuous improvements.
