Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Customs and Trade Compliance professional to manage daily LMW operations, license renewals and broker coordination. You will ensure compliant import/export activities and support various trade modes in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or above with 5+ years in customs/compliance, strong English and local language proficiency, and ERP experience (Oracle). You’ll collaborate across teams and may travel for operations alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above.
5+ years of experience in Customs and Trade Compliance in electronics-related industry.
Mastery in English and local language.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
Knowledge of trade regulations including LMW, SST Act and STA Act.

Responsibilities

Manage day to day LMW Customs operation with team including GPB application, follow up, Exemption list and License renewal and maintenance.
Oversee import/export shipments in adherence to trade regulations and coordinate with brokers for efficient customer declarations.
Support hand carry, temporary import, ATA Carnet and other trade modes to ensure compliance.
Provide expertise on product valuation, commercial invoices, incoterms and local Customs requirements.
Support export compliance processes including order screening and release using automated tools.
Interact with local customs/MITI authorities, support audits and maintain compliance with NI’s ethics policies.
