Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia is seeking a senior tooling leader to drive tooling projects, engineering activities, and tool assembly operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.

You will lead a team, oversee design, assembly, and problem solving; coordinate with customers and internal teams on tooling requirements, and optimize manpower, machinery, materials, and equipment usage while pursuing continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in tooling, mold manufacturing, or related manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of tooling development, mold design, and assembly processes.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling projects from planning through execution and delivery.
• Oversee tool design, assembly operations, and technical problem-solving.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams on tooling requirements and issues.
• Optimize manpower, machinery, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Drive productivity, quality, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve departmental goals and KPIs.
