Job summary

• 3-5 years of tooling experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of mold setup, tooling maintenance, and related equipment.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the tooling team, ensuring timely maintenance, repair, and setup of molds, dies, and tooling equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for tooling issues, implementing solutions to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.
• Work closely with the production and engineering teams to develop and improve tooling processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of tooling equipment, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Train and mentor junior tooling technicians, promoting best practices and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of tooling performance, maintenance schedules, and repair activities.
