Job summary

Micro-Mechanics Technology Sdn Bhd (182707-X) is seeking a design engineer to create tooling for Die Attach and Wire Bonding. You will develop detailed 2D/3D drawings, compile BOMs, and perform tolerance and thermal analyses to ensure performance and manufacturability.

You will collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams, review designs, and help optimize costs while maintaining quality and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software (Inventor or AutoCAD) required.
• Engineering degree with solid design background preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tooling solutions for Die Attach and Wire Bonding.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and BOMs using CAD tools.
• Optimise spring load tooling to meet customer requirements.
• Perform tolerance and thermal analyses on tooling designs.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility.
• Lead design reviews and provide input for cost optimisation.
