Job summary

Halcyon Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Johor seeks a skilled Tooling Engineer/Technician to manage tooling, draft precise 3D/2D drawings, and support onsite tool vending services to back sales while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will blend hands-on machining experience with drafting proficiency, applying rigorous tooling practices, tool reconditioning, and expert application engineering to optimise performance and uptime across customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in turning, auto lathe, milling or similar manufacturing/maintenance roles.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work occasional shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Tool Vending Management: oversee tool vending systems in-house and at customer sites.
• Reconditioning Program: manage tool regrinding and reconditioning to extend life.
• Technical Drafting: create and maintain accurate 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Application Engineering Support: advise clients on tooling selection and machining parameters.
