Job summary

Celestica Inc. in Malaysia is seeking a Lead Engineer, Test Manufacturing to lead the development, qualification and maintenance of automatic test equipment and test programs used for product testing and design verification.

They will also support test development for the equipment and processes to ensure robust, high quality test solutions and final products are realized. You will define test strategies, drive DFT/DFM practices, troubleshoot yields, train technicians and push for robust,

Qualifications

• Define test strategy and optimize test setup/processes including fixtures, equipment and software.
• Drive/Validate test requirements for NPI and product launches.
• Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues.
• Provide training for Tests Technician.
• Develop test station procedures and preventative maintenance plans.
• Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology and methodology.
• Minimum 6–8 years of related experience.
• Experience with Visual Basic.
• Review hardware designs to define test coverage for manufacturing defects.
• Deep understanding of DFT and DFM methods.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems.
• Knowledge of DC circuits.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategy, implement and optimize test setup/processes including design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and test software.

• Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues.
• Provide training for Tests Technician
