Job summary

Nexperia Malaysia is seeking a Principal/Staff Test Engineer to drive sustaining test programs for high-volume IC production. You will optimize test processes, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate across global sites to ensure robustness and quality of test solutions.

The role involves supporting NPI transfers, hardware interfaces, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve test efficiency in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Proven sustaining/production test engineering experience in semiconductors.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or equivalent in ATE environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, optimize, and enhance existing production test programs for stable performance.
• Lead root-cause analysis for test-related issues and implement containment actions.
• Support NPI, industrialization, and transfer of test programs across sites.
• Assist with hardware interfaces, tester, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardize test methods and documentation.
