TRILIGHT OPTICS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD in Penang is seeking a Test Engineer to join our Electrical/Electronic Engineering team in Perai. You will develop, execute, and oversee comprehensive testing protocols for optical and electronic products to ensure performance, reliability, and safety before customers.

As a Test Engineer, you will handle anomalies, conduct root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement of testing yields.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a quality assurance/testing role within electrical/electronic/optical manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of electronic testing methodologies and equipment.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, IEC standards, or equivalent quality frameworks.
For Senior roles: 5+ years of test engineering experience with leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and oversee testing protocols for optical and electronic products to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
Handle testing anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and implement improvements to testing yield and first-pass yield.
Create and maintain testing standards, specifications, and outlines.
Coordinate with production, marketing, and customers to provide testing support.
For Senior roles: lead testing teams and mentor junior engineers, developing testing methodologies and standards.
