Job summary

Teradyne’s Penang-based manufacturing site is seeking a hands-on hardware engineer to support test and measurement product lines. You will troubleshoot RF and optical issues, perform precise measurements, and drive test method improvements across cross-functional teams including NPI, R&D, and field services.

The role emphasizes manufacturability, yields, and cost reduction while ensuring products meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field required.
• Strong experience with RF and optical test and measurement.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues and perform data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support hardware engineering activities for test and measurement product lines.
• Troubleshoot RF/optical issues at module and component level and improve test methods.
• Set up and perform RF and photonics measurements and interpret results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and CM for manufacturing quality.
