Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled automotive technician to join our workshop team. You will perform advanced diagnostics, servicing, and repair work to Proton standards, guiding junior technicians as needed and ensuring quality workmanship.

The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in Automotive Technology, 4–6 years of experience, and strong diagnostic skills. Independent work and teamwork are essential, along with a valid driving licence. Full-time assignment.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Automotive Technology or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspection, servicing, diagnostics, and repair.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic tools.
• Carry out repair and replacement of vehicle components.
• Ensure all repair work meets Proton quality and safety standards.
• Conduct final inspections and road tests when required.
• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians.
• Maintain accurate service records and job completion reports.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
• Support the workshop team in achieving productivity and customer satisfaction targets.
