Job summary

Toku is hiring a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise system integration projects across APAC and global markets.

You will act as the primary delivery owner for clients, partners, vendors and internal teams, mentoring junior PMs and driving operational maturity as Toku scales internationally. Strong technical understanding with stakeholder management is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of project or programme management experience delivering complex enterprise technology or system integration projects.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is required.
• Enterprise delivery experience with large stakeholder environments and structured delivery methodologies.
• Practical experience managing technical implementations involving system integration, infrastructure, cloud platforms and enterprise software.
• Extensive experience using Jira for project planning, delivery tracking, governance and reporting.
• Experience delivering projects involving cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of CCaaS, CPaaS, CTI and enterprise contact centre architectures is desirable.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Salesforce would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical implementation and system integration projects across APAC and global markets.
• Own integrated project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies and governance activities.
• Work with architects, consultants and engineering teams to understand designs and integration approaches.
• Manage complex integration programmes involving enterprise platforms and CRM solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers and stakeholders through clear communication and governance.
• Coordinate project resources across multiple countries and functions, monitor risks and project health using Jira.
• Identify risks early, drive mitigation plans, and escalate blockers as needed.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, production readiness and deployment activities.
• Monitor budgets, effort burn, milestones and change requests to ensure commercial sustainability.
• Provide executive-level reporting on progress, finances, governance and decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Solution Engineering to identify delivery insights and change requests.
• Promote continuous improvement of PM methodologies and delivery practices.
• Mentor less experienced project managers and provide senior leadership across the delivery organisation.
• Travel internationally when required and work across different time zones.

As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of complex enterprise system integration projects across APAC and global markets, acting as the primary delivery owner for clients, partners, vendors and internal teams. Beyond project execution, you will help strengthen project management standards, mentor less experienced project managers, and drive greater operational maturity as Toku continues to scale internationally. Success in this role depends on combining strong technical understanding with excellent stakeholder management, commercial awareness, sound project governance, and the ability to adapt across different countries, time zones and customer environments.

What you will be doing

• Enterprise Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical implementation and system integration projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards across multiple workstreams.

• Project Planning & Governance: Own integrated project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, assumptions, resources, milestones and governance activities throughout the project lifecycle.

• Technical Leadership: Work confidently with solution architects, consultants and engineering teams to understand technical designs, infrastructure, cloud environments and integration approaches, enabling informed delivery decisions and effective issue resolution.

• System Integration: Manage complex integration programmes involving enterprise platforms, contact centre technologies, CRM solutions, cloud services and connectivity components while ensuring all technical deliverables align with client requirements.

• Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with enterprise customers, government stakeholders where applicable, internal delivery teams, partners and vendors by providing clear communication, governance and proactive expectation management.

• Resource & Delivery Management: Coordinate project resources across multiple countries and functions, balancing delivery priorities while maintaining visibility of resource utilisation, delivery risks and overall project health using Jira and related project management tools.

• RAID Management: Own project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies by identifying potential delivery challenges early, driving mitigation plans and escalating blockers before they impact project outcomes.

• Testing & Go-Live: Coordinate testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), production readiness and deployment activities with consulting, engineering and client teams to ensure successful implementation and transition into production.

• Commercial & Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, effort burn, payment milestones, commercial commitments and change requests, ensuring delivery remains commercially sustainable while providing early visibility of potential impacts.

• Project Reporting: Produce accurate executive-level reporting covering project progress, delivery status, financial health, governance updates, risks, decisions and next steps for both customers and internal leadership.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales and Solution Engineering to provide delivery insights, identify commercial risks, support solution transitions into delivery, and highlight opportunities for additional services or change requests where appropriate.

• Continuous Improvement: Help strengthen project management methodologies, reporting standards, governance frameworks and delivery consistency as Toku scales its global project delivery capability.

• Mentoring & Leadership: Mentor and coach less experienced project managers, promote best practices, and provide senior project leadership across the wider delivery organisation.

• Global Delivery: Successfully manage projects across multiple countries and regions while remaining flexible to collaborate across different time zones and travel internationally when required.

• AI & Automation: Continuously identify opportunities to improve project delivery through AI-powered reporting, workflow automation, Copilot agents and other productivity tools that reduce administrative effort and improve delivery effectiveness.

• Experience: 5–10 years of project or programme management experience delivering complex enterprise technology or system integration projects.

• Project Management Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 certification is required.

• Enterprise Delivery: Strong experience delivering projects for medium to large enterprise organisations, with exposure to large stakeholder environments and structured delivery methodologies.

• Technical Background: Practical experience managing technical implementations involving system integration, infrastructure, cloud platforms and enterprise software, with the ability to engage confidently in technical discussions without necessarily being a hands-on engineer.

• Project Governance: Extensive hands-on experience using Jira for project planning, delivery tracking, governance and reporting.

• Cloud Technologies: Experience delivering projects involving cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Contact Centre & Communications Technologies (preferred but not required): Practical knowledge of CCaaS, CPaaS, CTI, enterprise contact centre architectures and the wider cloud communications industry, including familiarity with major vendors such as Genesys, Avaya and similar platforms.

• Enterprise Platforms: Experience delivering or integrating enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow and Salesforce. Familiarity with Remedy/BMC or similar enterprise service management platforms would also be advantageous.

• Connectivity & Telecommunications: Experience within telecommunications, network infrastructure or connectivity-related projects would be highly valued, particularly where enterprise provisioning or carrier integrations have been involved.

• CRM & Enterprise Applications: Experience working with CRM platforms and enterprise business applications across cloud and on-premise environments.

• Agile Delivery: Experience working within Agile software delivery environments and collaborating closely with engineering teams.

• IT Understanding: Good practical understanding of ITIL principles and IT service management practices.

• AI Productivity: Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve project delivery, reporting, workflow automation or operational efficiency within day-to-day project management activities.

• Industry Experience: Experience supporting government, public sector or healthcare customers would be advantageous. Experience with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments would be considered a strong advantage.

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead governance discussions and manage complex client relationships.

• Working Style: Comfortable working across international time zones, travelling internationally when required, and adapting to the needs of global enterprise project delivery.

• Location: This role is to be based in KL, Malaysia, operating on a Hybrid work mode of WFO and WFH
