Job summary

RiDiK, a subsidiary of CLPS, is seeking an accomplished engineering lead in Kuala Lumpur to drive design, development, delivery, and support of critical applications. You will guide the development team, oversee security, manage incidents, and coordinate releases to ensure stable, scalable solutions.

The role requires strong stakeholder communication, mentoring, and a deep understanding of .NET, Java, Node.js, and TypeScript.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of application development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or leadership role.
• Strong experience in .NET, Java, Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and enterprise app development.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, system integration, and software architecture.
• Experience managing production support, incident management, and security remediation activities.
• Strong stakeholder communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and release management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, delivery, and support of business-critical applications.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team including task prioritization and code reviews.
• Manage security matters, incidents, and production issues.
• Support planned releases and ongoing project initiatives.
• Provide standby support for unplanned production incidents outside working hours.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, transition, and handover activities.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive solution design, architecture reviews, and development standards.
• Ensure high-quality delivery through testing governance and risk management.
• Minimize operational risks and ensure successful project delivery.
