Job summary

Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior civil engineer to lead pre‑contract planning, work sequencing, and project timelines for high‑rise and mixed development projects in Shah Alam. You will manage design integration, propose value engineering solutions, and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities, leveraging BIM, Primavera, AutoDesk and Bentley tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years experiences in high rise building / mixed development / residential / industrial projects.
• Exposure to infrastructure construction such as elevated highways, roads and bridges would be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of structural design software including Autodesk and Bentley tools; proficient with BIM.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-contract planning and prepare work sequences and project timelines.
• Prepare work programme, project timeline and s-curve analyses for tender submissions.
• Attend, manage, and coordinate meetings with client, consultants, contractors, third parties and authorities.

Job description

Able to handle and coordinate Pre-Contract - Prepare work sequence planning, work programme, project timeline, project s-curve, manpower & machineries histogram, logistic planning and overall technical proposal for tender submission preparation.

Knowledge of Design & Build project and Design Management of similar nature from conceptual design, preliminary, design development and detail design. Ability to produce value engineering design proposals or counter proposed design.

Attend, manage, make presentation and coordinate meetings with client, consultants, contractors, third parties and authorities.

Job Requirements

Possess a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 10 years experiences in high rise building / mixed development / residential / industrial projects. Exposure in construction of handling infrastructure such as elevated highways, roads and bridges, viaducts and civil projects would be an added advantage.

Good knowledge and understanding in structural design softwares such as civil engineering softwares from Autodesks, Bently and others. Able to use and understanding of project planning softwares in Primavera and Microsoft Projects as well as Building Information Modelling (BIM).

Conversant with design code of practices, contracts, regulation and specification such as BS and Eurocodes, PAM98/2006, CIDB 2000, IEM CE 2011 and JKR / PWD 2010.

Understanding of quality and safety standards of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 37001 and ISO 45001.

Positive working attitude, high initiative, pro-activeness, teamwork orientated, good personality and leadership, commitment to departmental objectives and responsibility values. Able to communicate with all levels of internal and external parties.

Must be willing to work according to the HQ departmental needs, project based and able to travel.
