Job summary

KH ADVISORY SDN BHD, a leading tax and advisory firm in Kuala Lumpur, seeks an experienced Tax Senior Executive to join our team. You will prepare corporate and personal tax returns, perform tax computations, and ensure compliance for a diverse client base.

The role requires ACCA/CPA or equivalent with at least five years of tax experience in professional services or corporate tax. You will analyze tax laws, advise on planning, review work, and liaise with LHDN on audits.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA, CPA or equivalent and at least 5 years of tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in tax preparation software.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely tax returns (Corporate & Personal), computations, and other tax-related documentation for clients (Filling of Forms C, P, CP204, CP204A, CP204B, CP7, E, B, BE and M)
• Assist in the analysis and interpretation of tax laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance
• Conduct research and provide recommendations on tax planning and optimization strategies
• Collaborate with clients and other team members to identify and address tax-related issues
• Participate in the review and quality assurance of tax work performed by junior team members
• Stay up-to-date with the latest tax developments and trends to provide valuable insights to clients
• Liaise with LHDN officer on tax audit issues & investigation on tax matters and response to client's queries

KH ADVISORY SDN BHD, a leading tax and advisory firm based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an experienced Tax Senior Executive to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive tax services and advisory support to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Prepare accurate and timely tax returns (Corporate & Personal), computations, and other tax-related documentation for clients (Filling of Forms C, P, CP204, CP204A, CP204B, CP7, E, B, BE and M)

Assist in the analysis and interpretation of tax laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance

Conduct research and provide recommendations on tax planning and optimization strategies

Collaborate with clients and other team members to identify and address tax-related issues

Participate in the review and quality assurance of tax work performed by junior team members

Stay up-to-date with the latest tax developments and trends to provide valuable insights to clients

Liaise with LHDN officer on tax audit issues & investigation on tax matters and response to client's queries

What we're looking for

Partial or Qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant tax experience in a professional services firm or a corporate tax department

Excellent knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to clients in a clear and concise manner

Proficient in the use of tax preparation software and other relevant technology tools

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
