Job summary

ADI Resourcing seeks a Senior System Engineer (DevOps) in Kuala Lumpur to lead the administration of Windows and Linux environments, optimize deployment pipelines, and drive reliability and performance improvements. Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage development, staging, and production environments following standard procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to address scaling, testing, and performance issues, ensuring disaster recovery plans are in place.
• Provide daily operational support and participate in project implementations (requires travel flexibility).
• Maintain and enhance existing system architecture and prepare technical documentation.
• Research and implement solutions to improve system reliability, availability, and service standards.
• Automate processes for testing, deployment, and configuration to streamline systems.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Explore new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and service standards.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field with strong academic performance.
• At least 5 years of experience in administering both Windows and Linux OS (VMware/virtualization & cloud environments like AWS/Google Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, cloud deployment, coding, and scripting (e.g., PHP, Java, NodeJS, Shell scripts).
• Proficiency in managing web services (Apache, NGINX, PHP, SQL databases).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git, TFS, Jenkins).
• Strong understanding of network and system administration.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and adhere to project plans.
