Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage enterprise infrastructure across Linux, Windows, and cloud environments. You will ensure stability, security, and performance while driving automation and continuous improvement.

You will administer Linux and Windows servers, manage patching, and support security initiatives. The role includes 24x7 on-call support and mentoring junior staff in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience in system administration and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain Linux and Windows server environments.
• Ensure the availability, integrity, and performance of enterprise infrastructure services.
• Perform system monitoring, patch management, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Support IT security initiatives, including firewall management, antivirus protection, VPN administration, and security patching.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, operating system, and application-related incidents.
• Provide technical consultation and support to development and project teams.
• Participate in technical research and recommend infrastructure improvements and automation opportunities.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and support audit compliance requirements.
• Mentor and provide knowledge transfer to junior team members and new hires.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call support and incident management activities when required.
