Job summary

Linuxconfig is seeking an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer with 5+ years of IT infrastructure expertise. You will design and maintain Ansible playbooks, automate provisioning, and manage Linux and Windows environments.

Collaborating with Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams, you will integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines, ensure security compliance, and continually optimize automation processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Infrastructure or DevOps experience.
• Hands-on Ansible experience with Playbooks, Roles, Inventories, and Tower/AWX.
• Linux administration and basic Windows administration.
• Scripting proficiency: Shell, Python, PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Experience with VMware, AWS, Azure, or OCI is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.
• Automate server provisioning, configuration management, patching, and deployment activities.
• Manage Linux and Windows infrastructure through Ansible.
• Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize existing automation processes.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud, and Application teams to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain automation documentation and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
