Job description

• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in market to gather/analyze market data and demand patterns
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, adjusting as needed based on market changes, other data and stakeholder feedback, to get consensus sign-off, backed by assumptions and tracked
• Perform root cause analysis of demand/supply discrepancies, with corrective/preventive plans
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of demand plans and alignment with overall business goals for the region
• Manage and lead New Products in the market from ideation to launch, from a supply chain perspective
• Coordinate with supply teams to manage inbound supply to meet the demand forecast, considering factors such as importation regulations, lead times, etc. while applying a risk identification/mitigation mindset to prevent controllable issues
• Design optimal A-B-C based inventory analysis and optimal inventory policies while ensuring timely replenishment and minimizing overstocking and stockouts, as part of robust inventory control
• Co design system-based planning tools especially using AI

2. S&OP

• Lead the market's Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process as the local owner, providing insights on demand trends, supply constraints, and opportunities for alignment between departments, using S&OP as the platform to track and highlight key business metrics e.g. inventory turnover, service levels, and OTIF
• Assist in the preparation of the market's S&OP materials while coordinating with APAC regional office
• Prepare and present scenarios / recommendation for management, highlighting potential risks, supply gaps, or opportunities for process improvement

3. Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with local, regional and HQ stakeholders to ensure alignment in business and supply chain strategies, including implementation and execution
• Develop and maintain relationships at the appropriate eye-level with key stakeholders across functions
• Place Supply chain at the right level via strategic positioning

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in supply chain, specifically demand/supply planning, inventory management
• Confidence with S&OP, including designing/leading S&OP in a market
• Experience in an international and cross-functional environment
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Demonstrates leadership potential and the aptitude to thrive in dynamic fast growth environments
