Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a senior Leader for Supplier Quality Excellence in Penang. You will define and drive high-impact supplier quality programs, partner with assemblies, tests, and procurement, and lead strategic quality initiatives across global supplier networks.

You will mentor engineers, implement advanced process controls, and ensure adherence to QMS and industry standards while advancing a culture of defect prevention and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 8+ years semiconductor industry experience.
• Strong understanding of SEMI manufacturing processes and supplier QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, technically complex supplier quality improvement projects.
• Drive supplier quality standards, governance, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor engineers and SQEs to build technical capability.
• Act as primary technical interface between suppliers and Micron internal teams.
• Lead risk management with root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Promote AI-enabled quality monitoring and analytics where appropriate.
• Collaborate across global functions to achieve business goals.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and ethics requirements.
