Job summary

Hitachi Energy Malaysia is seeking a Design Engineer / Senior Engineer for our Grid Automation team to support the engineering, design, and execution of substation protection and control projects in the region. You will deliver high-quality designs, assist testing and commissioning, and ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality, safety, and schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering, experience in SAS/RTUs/PLCs, and proficiency with E3

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or related field.
• Experience in protection and control engineering for substations or power systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer high-voltage protection and control systems for substations.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and termination charts.
• Configure, test, and support commissioning of protection relays and control systems.
