Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Design Engineer / Senior Engineer to join the Grid Automation team. You will deliver high‑quality engineering designs, support testing and commissioning, and ensure projects meet customer requirements, quality standards, safety guidelines, and schedules.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare deliverables, and contribute to continuous improvement while upholding strong HSE practices and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in protection and control engineering for substations or power systems.
• Knowledge of high-voltage protection & control systems and relay configuration.

Responsabilités

• Design and engineer high-voltage protection and control systems for substation projects.
• Prepare, review, and maintain engineering documentation (schematics, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, termination charts).
• Configure, test, and support commissioning of protection relays and control systems.
