Job summary

Leviat, a global leader in construction accessories and engineered solutions, seeks a mid-senior Structural Engineer to provide engineering support and lead a small team of junior engineers. You will ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, high-quality structural solutions that meet customer and project requirements.

This onsite role in Malaysia involves developing design tools, assisting with R&D and product compliance, preparing drawings and cost estimates, and mentoring junior staff while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Experience in construction, engineering design, architecture, and building materials.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel.
• Experience with precast concrete lifting and connections is a plus.
• Commitment to safety and CRH policies and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain design tools and procedures for the technical department.
• Assist with R&D projects and product compliance, including calculation models and literature.
• Prepare plans with drawings showing project specifications and cost estimates.
• Lead and mentor a small team of junior engineers.
• Assist with technical presentations to customers.
• Stay informed on industry trends and product line developments.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and CRH policies.
