Job summary

Leviat Malaysia is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to provide engineering support to clients while leading a small team of engineers. You will develop and maintain design tools, assist with R&D projects, and ensure product compliance with relevant standards.

The role requires strong knowledge of structural engineering, experience with AutoCAD and Excel, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. This hybrid position is based at the Sunway office in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• Relevant working experience in construction, engineering & design.
• Solid knowledge of fundamental structural engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain design tools and procedures to assist the technical department.
• Lead and mentor a small engineering team within the department.
• Prepare plans with detailed drawings including project specifications and cost estimates.
• Assist with R&D projects and product compliance across product groups.
