Job summary

IMETAL (M) SDN BHD is a premier roofing company in Sarawak, manufacturing metal roofing, cold form and hot rolled welded trusses, ceilings, domes and façades. The company designs, supplies and installs these products and Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) systems.

As an Engineer, you will design and analyze structural steel, metal roofing, PEB systems and façades. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with codes and standards, reviewing drawings, resolving on-site issues, optimizing

Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Strong proficiency in structural design software and industry codes.
Good leadership and teamwork abilities with excellent communication skills.
Minimum 5 years of proven design experience.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze structural steel, metal roofing, PEB systems and facades
Ensure all designs conform strictly to building codes, safety regulations and relevant industry standards
Review technical drawings and resolve structural design and installation issues on-site
Optimize structural steel components using specialized design software
Collaborate with external contractors and internal teams for smooth project delivery
