Job summary

Levi Strauss (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior Store Manager to oversee operations across three stores, driving sales targets and delivering outstanding customer service through strong leadership.

You will coach Stylists, implement store plans, manage promotions, and maintain visual merchandising guidelines while controlling security and inventory risks. The role requires 5+ years in store management, SPM or Diploma, fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and readiness to work retail

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma with at least 5 years' experience in a store management role.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; strong leadership and initiative.

• Oversee retail operations across at least three stores.
• Drive sales targets and monitor KPIs and sell-through information.
• Coach Stylists and ensure knowledge of products and effective customer guidance.
• Deliver excellent customer service with strong store presence and leadership.
• Organize promotions/events and develop monthly/seasonal store plans.
• Control security risks and report risks to HQ or authorities as needed.
• Brief team daily to align with weekly/monthly KPIs.
• Ensure adherence to Store Operational and Visual Merchandising guidelines.

Job description

Reporting to the District Manager, the Senior Store Manager will play an active role as person in charge in at least 3 stores in helping the company to achieve its business targets and goals mainly through managing all aspects of retail operations functions, executing retail operations priorities and serves as the primary contact to the company personnel and customer.

Key responsibilities

Ensure that the team possess a thorough knowledge of the company and products

Ensure that all Stylists are able to communicate effectively of the product features and benefits and be able to advise customers on fashion choices and matching

Positive attitude and motivate team spirit to achieving sales target

Being the role model consistently deliver excellent customer service by ensuring a good management presence at the store at all times

Read, understand and abide the Store Operational guidelines and Visual Merchandising guidelines

Organize promotions/events to clear past seasonal stocks

Implement and support effective retail operations functions and priorities by developing and tracking monthly, seasonal, and annual store plans

Maintain a firm control over security risks to prevent potential theft or loss, and report to company and or the authorities of any further risks beyond the store's capability

Evaluate weekly and monthly store key performance and sell thru information to highlight customer behavior within the store area, and provide the information to HQ as input towards decision making

Conduct daily briefing to keep the team on track in delivering the weekly and monthly KPIs

About you

Minimum SPM or Diploma with at least 5 years' experience in a store management role

Must have leadership and know how to take initiative

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Good coordination and administration skills

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage

Service oriented with high enthusiasm to serve

Able to work retail operational hours
