Job summary

Heng Sheng Hardware is hiring a Senior Store Keeper to manage inventory, ensure stock accuracy, and control daily stock movements between our Retail and Warehouse teams in Dengkil, Selangor. The role requires hands-on leadership, organizing stock operations, and guiding foreign workers in daily tasks according to SOPs.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in store/stock roles, strong Excel and inventory system skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Controller or Warehouse Store Keeper.
• Able to use Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.
• Good communication, independent work and attention to detail.
• Experience in hardware, building materials, retail, distribution or warehouse operations is advantageous.
• Able to guide foreign workers and ensure SOPs are followed.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory accuracy and process all stock transactions in the inventory system.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate and monitor stock transfers between Retail and Warehouse.
• Monitor retail stock levels and arrange timely stock replenishment.
• Support QR code scanning and maintain proper inventory documentation.
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe stockroom.
• Guide foreign workers in their daily duties.
• Ensure workers follow company SOPs and stock‑handling procedures.
• Recommend improvements to increase inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with the Retail and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth daily stock operations.

This role is suitable for someone who is organized, hands-on and able to guide foreign workers in carrying out daily stock operations according to company procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Able to guide and manage foreign workers effectively
• Experience in hardware, building materials, retail, distribution or warehouse operations is an advantage
