Job summary

Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Staff Specialist for Supplier Quality Management to ensure incoming materials meet defined quality standards and to protect production and customers from material quality issues. You will lead containment activities, root-cause analysis, and supplier improvements.

The role requires coordinating with suppliers, performing audits, and supporting engineering sample buy-off during safe launches, with a focus on continuous quality

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Applied Science with major in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science.
• Minimum 6 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing with at least 4 years in Supplier Quality Management.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015, IATF16949:2016, and VDA6.3 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute an incoming quality inspection plan to detect material defects and regularly review its effectiveness.
• Collaborate with suppliers on containment actions and drive corrective/preventive actions using 8D methodology; issue and follow up on Supplier Corrective Action Reports.

Job description

Senior Staff Specialist Supplier Quality Management

Ensure material provided by supplier meet defined quality standards and requirements. Protect production and customer from material quality issues. Responsible for overall supplier quality, lead quality containment, root cause analysis and improvement with suppliers. Establish and execute incoming quality inspection plan to ensure material meet the required specifications and standards.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Establish and execute incoming quality inspection plan to ensure effective detection of material defects.Regular review of quality inspection plan for its effectiveness and relevancy, and manage thedisposition of incoming material due to supplier quality issue
• Work with suppliers on fast and effective containment actions, resolves quality issues and implement corrective and preventive measures using 8D approach, as well as accountable for Supplier Corrective Action Report issuance and follow-up until 8D closure
• Drive suppliers for continuous improvement through structured quality improvement program (QIP) by conduct supplier quality audits and assessment at defined frequencies to ensure supplier’s QMS is meeting Infineon requirement and its compliance, as well asperform on-site verification on improvement action implementation and its effectiveness
• Responsible for new supplier phase in assessment and qualification through first article inspection and audit, as well as support engineering sample buy-off in the event of safe launch, supplier PCN, and change management
• Collaborate and work with cross functional teams to develop leading indicators and implement process improvements to ensure production stability
• Support certification and customer audit, achieve zero major/critical findings

Your Profile
