Job summary

Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior Test Cell Engineer to develop test handling capabilities for New Packages/Products and to execute buyoff and release for New/Upgrade/Modification on Handler, Conversion Kit, Contactor, Docking, and Software Revision.

You will define equipment/test technology buyoff and release processes, document development, and coordinate with equipment suppliers to define the scope of work for development projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of working experience in test handling related function (e.g. Gravity Feed, Pick & Place, Strip Test platform).
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD or equivalent and mechanical drawing.
• Knowledge of basic project management skills and statistical data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Mechanical, Material, and Thermal Simulation Tools is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Electrical Test Methodology is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop test handling capability for New Packages/Products.
• Execute buyoff and release for New/Upgrade/Modification on Handler, Conversion Kit, Contactor, Docking, and Software Revision.
• Define Equipment/Test Technology Buyoff and Release Process.
• Responsible for documentation of Equipment/Test Technology Development, Buyoff, and Release according to business process
• Define, compile, and review the scope of work with the equipment supplier for Development projects.
• Define and execute Test Cell Design Guideline and Design Review with the equipment supplier prior to tool up.
• Govern equipment software and recipe.
• Lead medium to high complexity Test Cell Engineering work package.
• Monitoring of new Test Cell Performance, Quality, and Reliability to ensure Equipment Procurement Specifications are met.
• Identify and drive improvement programs on Test Cell performance for existing and new packages (e.g., MTBA / MTBF, PPJ, Disabled sites).
