Renesas Electronics Corp. in Penang is seeking a Sustaining Sr Staff Product Test Engineer to drive sustaining activities for power IC products in high-volume production.

You will own the mass-production test program, collaborate across design, test, and manufacturing, and push for yield, cost, and reliability improvements while addressing field issues. The role requires extensive experience with ATE systems, strong programming skills, and proven leadership in cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience with automated test equipment and test program development.
• Proficient in programming/scripting (C++, Python, Perl).
• Strong debug/troubleshooting and data analysis skills.
• Experience with JMP or similar data tools is a plus.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Automated Test Systems (ATE).
• Must be able to work onsite.

Responsabilités

• Own mass production sustaining test program across multiple product lifecycles.
• Drive COGS and yield improvement through process optimization.
• Develop automation tools to improve operational performance and reporting.
• Support customer return activities and analyze product performance and failures.
• Mentor less experienced engineers; collaborate across Design, Test, Manufacturing, QA.
