Job summary

AMD in Penang, Malaysia seeks an ASIC/SoC verification engineer to apply advanced functional verification techniques for pre-silicon validation of next-generation processors, GPUs, and related silicon. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high-quality RTL and testbenches.

The role entails porting and building Formal Verification environments, developing block/IP level test plans, performing coverage analyses, and mentoring the FV team to ensure timely, robust results.

Qualifications

• Experience with ASIC/SoC verification flows using SV/UVM/Formal Verification.

Responsibilities

• Apply current functional verification techniques to improve pre-silicon IP verification quality and Time to Market for ASIC/SoC designs.
• Port/porting or creation of Formal Verification environments for new designs; develop test plans and implement coverage analyses.
• Work independently on FV tasks and provide technical guidance to the FV team.
