Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly capable verification engineer for its Penang, Malaysia center. You will contribute to pre-silicon IP verification quality, focusing on SV/UVM/Formal verification for ASIC/SoC designs powering GPUs and CPUs.

You will port or create FV environments, develop test plans, analyze coverage, and drive regression cleanup while guiding the FV team to high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in ASIC/SoC design verification flows using SV/UVM and Formal Verification.

Responsibilities

• Apply current functional verification techniques to improve pre-silicon IP verification quality and time-to-market for ASIC/SoC design.
• Port/porting or creation of the FV environment for new design blocks and IP level test plans, coverage analysis, and regression cleanup.
• Provide technical guidance to the FV team and work independently on FV tasks.
