Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia seeks a Senior/Staff Engineer for Product Engineering in R&D. You will drive product performance, yield, quality, and reliability through the lifecycle from development to high-volume manufacturing.

The role includes coordinating across functions for product introductions, releases, and technology transfers. The ideal candidate has a strong FE process integration/product engineering background, knowledge of wafer fabrication and semiconductor device physics,

Qualifications

University degree in microelectronics or a related field.
Experience as FE Process Integration Engineer or Product Engineer.
Knowledge of semiconductor device physics (PN diodes, MOSFETs).

Responsibilities

Drive product performance, yield, quality and reliability from introduction to high-volume manufacturing.
Oversee four pillars: Product Performance & Yield; Yield improvement; Product parameter monitoring; Product characterization.
Ensure product quality, reliability and risk assessment; drive quality improvements and product disposition.
Handle issue resolution; manage product-related excursions and parameter deviations; cross-functional troubleshooting.
Support product introduction, new product releases and technology transfers; manage production ramp-up.
