Job summary

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to lead product design and process integration within the PEP group. You will develop capability roadmaps and drive standardization of processes for products on platforms to enable scalable production.

You will support pre-series ramp-up, coordinate the introduction of new technologies to platforms, and help define optimized lines and flows to meet product requirement profiles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or relevant field.
• 5 - 10 years in semiconductor process engineering field.
• 5 - 10 years in R&D project management.
• Product design and process engineering knowledge in semiconductors or LED especially Laser product.
• Knowledge in process development step and statistic.

Responsibilities

• Work with PTO for platform capability matrix and develop capability Roadmaps.
• Be the driver for standardization of Processes for Products within Platform.
• Support new product pre-series and ramp-up.
• Lead/co-ordinate the introduction of new Technologies to Platforms (typically technologies introduced along with new Products or based on Industry developments).
• Define overall line and optimized process flows.
• Design product which fulfling product requirement profile.
