Job summary

ams OSRAM seeks a Product Design and Process Integration Senior Staff Engineer in Malaysia to drive platform capability roadmaps and standardize processes across products. You will support pre-series ramps and lead new technology introductions to platforms, defining line flows and optimizing processes.

The role requires 5–10 years in semiconductor process engineering and R&D project management, with strong knowledge of laser/LED technologies and statistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or relevant field.
• 5 - 10 years in semiconductor process engineering field.
• 5 - 10 years in R&D project management.
• Product design and process engineering knowledge in semiconductors or LED, especially laser products.
• Knowledge in process development steps and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Work with PTO for platform capability matrix and develop capability roadmaps
• Be the driver for standardization of processes for products within platform
• Support new product pre-series and ramp-up
• Lead and coordinate the introduction of new technologies to platforms
• Define overall line and optimized process flows
• Design products which fulfill product requirement profile
