Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Penang seeks an experienced engineer to coordinate and supervise project activities in the assembly and integration phase of R&D projects, ensuring targets are met.

You will lead a team of Process Development Engineers and Technicians, plan workflows for maximum productivity, and provide technical support across production and other departments, contributing to successful mass production and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of working experience in the related field.
• Experience with R&D or New Product Introduction (NPI) in LED/ Semiconductor Assembly environment
• Knowledge of 6 Sigma methodology and process qualification is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all project activities in assembly and integration phase of R&D projects.
• Lead a team of Process Development Engineers and Support Technicians to move from development to mass production.
• Plan and administer work to maximize productivity and cost efficiency from development to product realization.
• Provide processes and technical support to production, marketing and other departments
