Infineon Technologies (Kulim) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer Process Integration to shape advanced semiconductor processes. You will lead yield, inline, PCM and DD quality improvement programs and drive fast feedback to production lines.
The role requires 6–8 years in the semiconductor industry with deep PI analysis tools, DOE and Six Sigma expertise. You will collaborate with PI and UPE teams on technology transfer, ramp-ups, and reliability risk assessments.
As a Senior Staff Engineer Process Integration in the Research & Development team, you will merge creativity with technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life.
Key responsibilities
Initiate and lead yield, Inline, PCM, and DD quality improvement programs
Conduct Lots assessment and disposition to ensure quality of products delivered to customers meet Infineon's quality and reliability standards
Investigate, identify and provide fast feedback to production line in case of PCM, Inline, DD trend deviation or drift
Identify product, technology, or process margin related problems and work with PI, UPE, and T to resolve
Create, release and maintain process routes
Perform DOE splits for process margin study and improvement, and DOE for optimization of product performance
Support new product releases and production tools releases (PCRB), technology transfer projects and ramp up production of new technologies
Monitor and work with PI and UPE to ensure stability of PCM, Inline, DD trends and parameters
Lead and support Technology Synchronization and own maintenance of technology FMEA
Provide expert knowledge on risk assessment on product quality and reliability (MRB)
About you
Bachelor, Master, or PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Material Science, or Chemistry
Minimum 6-8 years of working experience in Semiconductor industry
Advanced level of knowledge of PI analysis tools
Advanced level of knowledge in semiconductors physics of relevant power and IC technologies
In depth knowledge in 8D and other problem solving tools
Advanced statistical analysis and Six Sigma knowledge
Project management and leading team skills
DOE knowledge
Knowledge of unit processes and their influence on product, test methods for specific technology, product applications, and quality and reliability of products
Ability to lead internal yield and quality improvement teams and cross technology improvement team projects
