Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Malaysia seeks a seasoned engineer to support machine performance and efficiency using structured problem solving. You will help with spare parts management, cost reductions, and ramp-up of new equipment.

The role requires a Master’s/Bachelor’s in Engineering and 5+ years in electronics/semiconductor manufacturing, with molding expertise preferred. Strong communication and TPM understanding are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering with focus on electrical/electronics or semiconductor tech.
• ≥5 years in electronics/semiconductor manufacturing, molding experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience coaching technicians and supervising tasks.

Responsibilities

• Spare parts management on usage, budget control and cost reductions.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose difficult, infrequent problems systematically.
• Monitor PM activities, OEE & MTBA, quality and yield of assembly processes.
• Support production stabilization projects to achieve robust manufacturing.
• Assist in monitoring, improving, analyzing and controlling processes, materials, tooling and documentation.
• Support new product and equipment ramp-up and expansion manufacturing lines.

Your Role

• Spare parts management on usage, budget control. and work on cost reductions.
• Trouble shoot and diagnose difficult, infrequent problems in a systematic approach.
• Monitor PM activities, OEE & MTBA performance, quality and yield of assembly processes.
• Supports production stabilization projects to achieve robust manufacturing.
• Assist in monitoring, improving, analyzing and in control processes, materials, tooling and equipment & updating of relevant documents.
• Support new product & equipment for ramp-up & expansion manufacturing line.

Your Profile

• Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics / Semiconductor Technology).
• More than 5 years working experience in electronics or semiconductor manufacturing industry, Expert in molding preferable.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Coach and supervise technical specialists/technicians by assigning tasks and checking work at frequent intervals.
• Good understanding of TPM and Maintenance systematics.
• Possessed good analytical and problem solving skills.
