Job summary

AMS Osram in Malaysia seeks an experienced AI/ML leader to drive Generative AI solutions across enterprise functions. You will design, implement and govern LLM-based applications, collaborating with IT, data engineering, and product teams to scale AI across the organization.

The role emphasizes CRISP-DM aligned model development, scalable data pipelines, and responsible AI practices, with hands-on work on RAG, knowledge graphs, and cloud AI services to deliver enterprise-grade AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience implementing ML solutions using Python, R, or similar.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI and LLMs, prompt engineering, model evaluation, and responsible AI.
• 7+ years hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, LLMs and AI.
• Deep understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead Generative AI Solutions, building AI-powered applications, agents, and Copilot experiences.
• Design, train, and optimize ML models for various domains including SCM, Manufacturing, Product Management and Corporate Functions.
• Design robust data pipelines and collaborate with data engineers to optimize data infrastructure for ML processing.
