Job summary

TNG Digital Sdn Bhd, part of TNG Digital Group, is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen reliability and scale of our payments platform in Kuala Lumpur. You will own uptime, incident response, automation, and cloud architecture, partnering with development to embed reliability into the software lifecycle.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong scripting (Bash, Python, Go), IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, Docker,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, networking or related field.
• 8+ years in a DevOps or SRE role with cloud experience.
• Proficient in Bash, Python, Go; strong scripting and config mgmt skills.
• Experience with AWS/Azure and IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Docker and Kubernetes expertise with incident response and reliability practices.
• Cloud certification and project management is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime and 99.99% availability across services.
• Drive automation, standardize deployment scripts and pipelines.
• Manage release and disaster recovery planning for multi-cloud.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Enforce security and compliance in infra, containers and code.
• Lead and grow the SRE team and align with product/engineering.
