Job summary

Gen seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to build, operate, and evolve infrastructure powering MoneyLion's business-critical applications. You will work across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and automation to ensure platforms are highly available, scalable, and secure as the business grows.

You will partner with software, security, and platform teams to improve reliability, drive platform improvements, mentor engineers, and establish best practices across the SRE

Qualifications

• Strong software and systems engineering fundamentals for large-scale production systems.
• Hands-on AWS and cloud-native infrastructure experience in production environments.
• Kubernetes expertise with architecture, security and operations knowledge.
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) with automated workflows.
• CI/CD and GitOps practices using modern platforms.
• Observability tooling experience with Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana.
• SRE practices including SLOs/SLIs, incident management and capacity planning.
• Proven problem-solving and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and improve highly available, scalable infrastructure.
• Operate cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms focusing on reliability and security.
• Develop and improve IaC, CI/CD, GitOps to enable safe, efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering to design reliable architectures for apps and services.
• Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, tracing, and automation.
• Lead on-call rotations, incident response, RCA, and preventive improvements.
• Reduce toil via automation and AI-assisted operations.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish engineering standards.
