Commerz Global Service Solutions (CGSS) in Petaling Jaya seeks a Senior Specialist in Expense Management & Controls / Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment, accurate postings and strong governance across entities. You will work with regional teams, auditors and stakeholders to enhance control environments, manage month-end activities, and maintain compliance with policies.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree holder or Professional qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial industry or 5 years relevant business experience, if not a qualified accountant.
• Experience with Financial Institutions beneficial.
• Organized and able to prioritize.
• Good attention to detail, accuracy and being meticulous.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills, good team player.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Process orientated with ability to analyse and recommend / drive improvements.
• Service orientated to key clients and stakeholders.
• Able to work with minimum supervision and under time pressure with tight deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office application.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee invoice processing quality, timeliness and independent controls for serviced entities.
• Ensure invoices and reconciliations comply with Commerzbank policies and approvals.
• Review and implement local control procedures to match local processes and regulations.
• Prepare regular/ad-hoc expense statistics and expense control reports.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, HQ and other functions to ensure proper controls.
• Oversee month-end bookings for operating expenses, bonuses, prepayments and intercompany items.
• Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Internal Controls Assessments and related governance tasks.
