Job summary

RHB Bank Berhad is seeking a Senior Specialist, Digital Product Owner to define and deliver innovative digital products that enhance customer experience and drive growth. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, translating requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.

You will lead agile ceremonies, collaborate with UX/UI, engineering, marketing, legal, and compliance, and mentor junior product owners while staying ahead of industry trends and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, CS or related field; master's preferred.
• 5–7 years digital product management experience, ideally in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban in agile environments.
• Ability to translate requirements into user stories, epics, acceptance criteria.
• Analytical thinker with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
• Familiarity with banking regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Leadership to mentor junior product owners.

You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring our digital offerings meet market demands and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned digital products, aligning with RHB Bank's overall digital transformation goals.
• Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities and inform product development.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity and readiness for development teams.
• Prioritize product backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact, managing trade-offs effectively.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI design, engineering, marketing, legal, and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring efficient product delivery.
• Monitor product performance using key metrics, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and iterate on product features.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating product updates, progress, and challenges clearly and concisely.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital product management.
• Mentor and guide junior product owners or team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in digital product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in an agile development environment.
• Demonstrated ability to define product strategies, roadmaps, and detailed requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in using product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma).
• Experience with UX/UI principles and design thinking processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the banking sector is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
