Job summary

Neufast, a leading Enterprise SaaS provider, seeks a Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist for on-site work in Greater Kuala Lumpur. You will plan and execute test strategies to ensure reliability, performance, and security of our AI-driven assessment platforms.

You will review requirements, design tests, perform manual and automated testing, and collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data science teams to drive quality improvements and maintain ISO27001 controls.

Qualifications

• Experience ensuring end-to-end product reliability in SaaS or AI-based systems.
• Ability to design, document, and maintain clear test cases aligned with requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose root causes and communicate findings.
• Hands-on experience with QA tools, frameworks, and automation.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development environments and ISO27001 context.

Role Description

The Senior Software Quality Assurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing test strategies and test cases to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of Neufast’s enterprise SaaS and AI-driven assessment platforms. Day-to-day activities include reviewing requirements and technical specifications, performing functional, regression, and integration testing, and collaborating closely with product managers, software engineers, and data science teams to identify defects and drive quality improvements. The specialist will develop and maintain test documentation, contribute to test automation frameworks, and support continuous integration and delivery pipelines. The role also involves analyzing quality metrics, recommending process enhancements, and helping to uphold compliance and information security standards such as ISO27001.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Software Quality and Software Quality Assurance, with experience ensuring end-to-end product reliability in SaaS or AI-based systems.
• Proficiency in Quality Assurance practices, including test planning, test design, and execution of manual and automated test scenarios for PROD environments.
• Ability to design, document, and maintain clear and comprehensive Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for interpreting test results, diagnosing root causes, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with QA tools and frameworks (e.g., test management tools, bug tracking systems, and automated testing frameworks).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, and experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.
• Understanding of information security and data protection standards; experience in ISO27001-compliant or similarly regulated environments is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in a reputable university in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematics.
