Job summary

Aiodin Tech Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of software products. You will lead manual and automated testing across the SDLC, collaborating with development and product teams.

The role requires 4+ years QA experience, API testing with Postman/Bruno, and familiarity with Agile processes. This remote-friendly position offers a standard workday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with potential standby.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant Software QA / Testing experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Experience with structured testing methodologies and defect management.
• Familiar with API testing using Postman, Bruno, or similar tools.
• Experience with regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• Automation testing experience is an advantage.
• Performance testing experience is an advantage.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute comprehensive software testing strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman or Bruno.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, test reports, and quality documentation.
• Work closely with developers and relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Support performance testing and system quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to automated testing where applicable.
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote good testing practices.
• Participate actively in Agile development processes.
