Job summary

Corebase Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong Golang experience to design and implement scalable backend services and API integrations. You will contribute to architecture decisions, mentor teammates, and help deploy robust solutions using Golang and Next.js.

You will collaborate with frontend, QA, and other engineers to deliver features and improvements, while ensuring code quality and best practices across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science / IT
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on Golang with at least one year of experience
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Experience with third-party API integrations
• Strong understanding of backend development and software architecture
• Experience with Next.js is an advantage
• Good knowledge of SQL and Clickhouse
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and services using Golang
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
• Integrate multiple third-party APIs to securely access, process, and exchange external data
• Design and improve API aggregation and integration services to provide unified solutions for merchants and internal systems
• Review and improve existing system architecture to enhance scalability, maintainability, reliability, and performance
• Develop and maintain web portals and back-office systems using Next.js
• Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver new features and system improvements
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective, long-term solutions
• Identify potential technical risks and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes
• Configure and maintain local, staging, and production environments
• Support application deployment and investigate production-related issues when required
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
• Participate in technical discussions, system design, architecture decisions, and development planning
• Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure timely and quality delivery

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Golang to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have solid backend development experience, particularly in API development, third-party integrations, and system architecture, with exposure to Next.js, and application deployment.

You will take ownership of developing and improving our software applications, designing scalable solutions, integrating third-party services, and providing technical guidance to the development team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications and services using Golang

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

3+ years of software development experience

Strong hands-on experience with Golang at least one year experience

Strong experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs

Experience working with third-party API integrations

Strong understanding of backend development and software architecture

Experience with Next.js is an advantage

Good knowledge of SQL and Clickhouse

Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

Able to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions and deliverables

Good communication and collaboration skills

Experience with API aggregation platforms or merchant integrations

Familiarity with Redis, message queues, or caching

Experience with microservices architecture

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Experience working with Linux/Unix environments

Experience configuring and managing staging and production environments
